We live in the sunshine and play in the snow. The best of both worlds. The magnificnet beauty of the West Coast of the United States and Central Florida
Take a short photographic tour with us as we share some of the magnificent photos of two of our most beautiful National Parks, The Grand Teton and Yellowstone Park deep in the subzero temperatures of January.

If you’ve ever dreamed about taking a vaction unlike any you have ever taken before and you feel up to braving the temperatures and the excitement of seeing such a variety of wild animals so close you can feel the steam escape from their nostrils then consider this Photo Safari which is available from Yellowstone National Park. If you have an interest on where to go and what to do then just let me know I will be happy to work with you on an Itenerary. We designed this trip ourselves from start to finish and it truly was a “Trip of a Lifetime”.
In addition to the magnificent wildlife we had the enjoyment of dining at some of the most magnificent restaurants in the world. Moose and Bison are frequently found on the menu as well as other wonderful dishes. The selection is tremendous.
Downhill skiing as well as cross country, heli skiing and snow cat skiing are all available in the immediate area. Imagine being flown by helicopter to the high country where the snow is virgin with absolutely no tracks and being dropped off to take a run of a lifetime. If that’s too risky for you you may want to consider a solitude ride on a snow cat to the top of a deserted mountain where you can begin a challenging run between yourself and nature never knowing exactly what the next curve will reveal.
Take a day off and leave on an early morning snow machine ride from The Grand Tetons to Yellowstone National Park where speeds average about 40 miles per hour and blend in with the nature of the park. No wheeled vehicles are allowed in Yellowstone in the winter so you have no worries about traffic with the exception of other snow machines or snow coaches. A keen eye is imperative as you may see a wild animal cross your path at any given moment.
Love photography? Then join a small group of four or six people and take off in a snow coach for a wild life safari offered from the Snow Lodge in Yellowstone. Wildlife is guaranteed by me!
When the sun goes down bundle up and join a few people and take off for a “Steam and Star’s” Tour where you will walk by A family of Bison who have bedded down for the evening on a hot spot and feel the unbelievable struggle they face for survival in this extreme environment of deep cold temperatures in double digits below zero and stinging cold winds. If you’re lucky as we were you will be able to see the star formations in the sky and see and hear the steam from the gyser’s which abound in this area.
From Teton Village be sure and take the trip up the mountain by Gondola and ascend to one of the most luxurious restaurants in the world where huge outdoor fireplaces welcome you with warm laps of flames as you step out of the gondola.
There are so many things to see and do that one can only begin to imagine. If this sounds like a trip you would like to experience then let me know and I will be happy to share more information about how, when and where you too can experience the trip of a lifetime!
